The Wynwood Art Galleries, the distinguished platform for South Florida’s art scene, is set to host the Wynwood Preview, a first-of-its-kind gallery opening to commence Art Basel, Miami’s premiere showcase of local and international contemporary art exhibitions. The event will be held on Monday, December 2 from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at The Wynwood Building at 2750 NW 3rd Avenue, where an expected 500 art enthusiasts will gather to celebrate the inaugural affair. Throughout the night, guests will be served cocktails made by TANDUAY Asian Rum and Vita Coco, and food provided by Wynwood Kitchen and Bar and Joey’s Italian.
“By introducing the Wynwood Preview this year, we hope to garner recognition for the 60+ galleries that exist year-round in our district, while providing an opportunity for local and visiting art patrons to start their Art Basel experience early,” said Valentina Garcia, Co-Founder of m+v ART gallery, the Wynwood Preview’s lead organizer. “We’re incredibly grateful to our sponsors, TANDUAY Asian Rum, Vita Coco, Wynwood Kitchen and Bar and Joey’s Italian, for allowing us to turn this night into an occasion worthy of one of Miami’s largest cultural festivals.”
The Wynwood Building holds 11 distinguished galleries that will display exclusive works from upcoming and established artists throughout the event. In addition to the art exhibited, guests will enjoy light bites served by Wynwood Kitchen and Bar and imbibe with two signature cocktails, featuring TANDUAY Asian Rum and Vita Coco coconut water, created by master mixologist Chris Hudnall,.
