William Greenberg Desserts is pleased to announce the opening of its newest location within New York City’s world famous hotel, The Plaza. Located in the lower-level concourse as part of the recently expanded Plaza Food Hall, the beloved Madison Avenue bakery is ushering in a new era, opening a New York City outpost beyond their Upper East Side flagship store. The Plaza Food Hall location brings William Greenberg Desserts celebrated creations to a new generation of New Yorkers and visitors: creations like their famous black and white cookies, called the best in the city by New York Magazine, decadent brownies recently immortalized on AMC’s Mad Men and much more.

This was just a wonderful opportunity to bring these two New York classics together and give visitors and New Yorkers alike a real taste of New York. Heritage and tradition are William Greenberg cornerstones and their delicious pastries and baked goods have become an essential part of families’ holidays and celebrations throughout the years. At the Plaza Food Hall, amongst the favorites like Hamentachen and seasonal tarts, William Greenberg bakers are selling new items such as their exclusive cake pop, rich chocolate cake covered in dark chocolate and sprinkled with gold dust for an elegant treat, only available at the Plaza Food Hall. Of course patrons will also be able to enjoy the famed black and white cookies, brownies and other William Greenberg classics.
William Greenberg Desserts has been delighting families for 46 years. It is pleased to now be alongside some of Manhattan’s favorite food spots in the Plaza Food Hall, bringing its unique brand of community and mouthwatering tradition to a new neighborhood and a fresh generation of fans.

Plaza Food Hall is a popular European-inspired specialty Food Hall located on the Plaza Hotel’s Concourse Level opened in June 2010. The Concourse Level, designed by architect Jeffrey Beers, opened in May of 2012 and is devoted to carefully-curated food concepts housed in specialty freestanding shops, inspired by the charming markets and food halls found abroad.
