The steakhouse industry veterans of Prime Steak Concepts, Mike & Jeff Mastro, have been facing this firsthand with the opening of their Steak 48 location in Philadelphia. Originally slated to open back in April, the team took a step back to reconfigure the restaurant in a safe manner for guests. With indoor dining now permitted in Philadelphia at 25 percent capacity, Steak 48 Philadelphia will open its doors on Tuesday, September 15.
Restaurant Opening Delayed for Guest Safety
While the team still has plans for more expansion nationwide (with another location coming soon to Charlotte), Prime Steak Concepts has spent the better portion of 2020 focusing on how to safely welcome diners back into their restaurants while still providing the same level of gracious hospitality for which they are so renowned. Specially with the Philadelphia location, the owners worked together to redesign the space, placing large-scale flower arrangements to create barriers for social distancing, installing hand sanitizer stations, and highlighting the unique collection of semi-private dining suites enclosed with floor to ceiling glass (pictured, below).
Prime Steak Concepts operates popular steakhouses across the country, including Steak 48 (Chicago), Steak 48 (Houston), Steak 44 (Phoenix), Ocean 44 (Scottsdale) and Dominick’s Steakhouse (Scottsdale).
