Warren Miller Entertainment and Moosehead Breweries Limited
Announce National Partnership
The most esteemed company in snowsports filmmaking and Canada’s oldest independent brewery will kick off their partnership with the Moosehead Bartender’s Cup at Stowe Mountain.
Warren Miler Entertainment is thrilled to announce Moosehead Lager as the official beer partner for Warren Miller’s 67th feature film tour, launching Fall 2016.
“Warren Miller is one of the most iconic names in skiing and snowboarding. Moosehead’s connection to the outdoors naturally fits with the enthusiasm Warren Miller brings to outdoor adventure sports,” said Georgia Homsany, Brand Director for Moosehead in the US.
The dynamic partnership merges the passionate audience base of both brands and builds on their heritage and authentic brand storylines. Moosehead Lager has become a favorite of the Warren Miller Film Crew and athletes, so the audience can expect a cameo appearance from the iconic green bottle in film and at stops on WME’s National Film Tour, set to debut in October of 2016.
“This is a great partnership opportunity for Moosehead and Warren Miller,” said Andy Hawk, Managing Director for Warren Miller Entertainment. “The most important part of any ski day is hanging out with friends and reliving the stories. Beer is a part of that in ski culture, and Moosehead is making an authentic link to our sport.”
Warren Miller Entertainment, along with SKI Magazine and Skiing Magazine, will kick off the Moosehead partnership at the Moosehead Bartender’s Cup at Stowe Mountain Resort on March 30. This interactive event will challenge local bartenders and wait staff to compete in teams of two in a series of on-hill and off-hill challenges for a chance to win a trip to Utah. Other sponsored prizing for the Bartender’s Cup will include Moosehead-branded snowboards, Moosehead branded snow tubes, Skiing Magazine hats, Warren Miller hoodies and Warren Miller DVD’s and Descente Ski Jackets.
Registration is free and teams are encouraged to sign up immediately as the maximum number of participants allowed to compete in the Bartenders Cup is 100.
All interested parties are encouraged to register on SKI Magazine’s website.
