Vegalene Food Release Sprays Stand Up to the Tests of Professional Chefs

Three Par-Way Tryson pan sprays have been awarded American Culinary Federation’s Seal of Approval

Vegalene Food Release Sprays Stand Up to the Tests of Professional ChefsPar-Way Tryson’s Vegalene Food Release Spray, Vegalene Allergen Free Food Release Spray and Vegalene Buttery Cooking Spray have been awarded the Seal of Approval from the American Culinary Federation, Inc. (ACF), the largest professional chef member organization in North America.

“For decades Vegalene products have proven to chefs and foodservice operators that there is no substitute for industry-leading quality and innovation,” said Keyna Klabzuba, president, Par-Way Tryson. “We’re proud and honored that ACF’s in-depth tests on our Vegalene products provide an objective affirmation of what chefs have known for years.”

The Vegalene Food Release Spray, Allergen Free Food Release Spray and Buttery Cooking Spray were rigorously tested by Keith Davis, CEC, AAC, chair of the ACF Seal of Approval committee, and committee members. Each committee member evaluated the product’s physical performance, performance when various cooking methods were applied, adaptability, and accuracy of labels and marketing materials.

“Our panel of chefs tested the three Vegalene pan sprays in a range of commercial cooking and baking applications, and each product stood up to what we put it through,” said Davis. “These pan-release sprays received superior performance reviews from the committee members, and we are proud to award these products the ACF Seal of Approval.”

The ACF Seal of Approval program offers foodservice manufacturers the opportunity to have products endorsed by the premier organization of professional chefs in the U.S. Unlike other entities that offer tasting endorsements only, the ACF Seal requires extensive product testing and evaluation. After three years, ACF’s Seal of Approval committee determines if the product needs to be retested.

Par-Way Tryson’s products provide nonstick protection for cooking, baking and foodservice equipment. Vegalene food release sprays come in a variety of products and packaging to meet the foodservice industry’s diverse needs. The products are certified kosher and use earth-friendly, FDA-approved propellants, and eco-friendly packaging and shipping practices.
