Today, Trader Vic’s announces the appointment of Raquel A. Rodriguez as Vice President of Operations. This new position marks Raquel’s continued growth within the company, bringing over 16 years of restaurant and hospitality experience to the brand’s growing portfolio. In her new role, Raquel will be working closely with the CEO to assist with company growth and to further develop Trader Vic’s brand identity.
Raquel’s work and development with Trader Vic’s Worldwide over the last 10 years makes her an ideal candidate for this role,” said Rhett Rosen, CEO. “Her experience coupled with a passion for the hospitality industry is evident in every position she has held. We are not only confident, but further motivated by Raquel’s energy as we continue the resurgence of the Trader Vic’s brand.”
In addition to her focus on company growth, Raquel will oversee property management, new brand development and help identify strategic partnerships. Raquel will also be tasked with on-site property visits to Trader Vic’s 19 restaurants worldwide, ensuring brand consistency while celebrating a sense of place in each unique location.
Starting as a lead server at Trader Vic’s Los Angeles in 2009, Raquel quickly rose through the ranks, holding positions as Assistant Manager, Corporate Training & Service Manager and most recently, Director of Food & Beverage.
Originally from California, Raquel is a graduate of Boston University where she earned her degree in Hospitality Administration.
