Michael Morrisette has been named General Manager at The Strand House® in Manhattan Beach, according to Michael Zislis, owner of the notable beachfront restaurant. Morrisette previously was a partner at Savore Restaurant & Events along with Spago Beverly Hills chefs Richard Lauter and Erez Levy and brings three decades of hospitality industry experience to the landmark oceanfront restaurant’s executive management staff.
Eric Babajko, who has worked as a floor manager at The Strand House since the restaurant opened one year ago, has been promoted to Assistant General manager.

Morrisette has held management roles at several prominent restaurants throughout Los Angeles, including Jackson’s, La Cachette, Citrin, Maple Drive and Café del Rey. He helped open and was instrumental in bringing Mélisse to its Four Star Mobil status.

The restaurant is open for lunch Tuesday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Dinner hours are Tuesday through Friday from 5 p.m. – close.
