The Park Club California, Orange County’s newest private business and social gathering place, has unveiled full menus for the Club’s two distinct dining venues which include the Monet Restaurant and the Palm Bar and Lounge. Under the creative culinary direction of Executive Chef Daniel Hohng, the Club is a premier dining destination offering breakfast, lunch and dinner service, accompanied by a diverse range of member programming, including supper club concerts, art receptions, culinary tastings, wine dinners and seasonal gatherings. Member programming in March includes a Shafer Vineyards Wine Dinner with an exclusive four-course menu prepared by Chef Hohng, paired with wines from one of Napa Valley’s pioneer vintners. The Park Club will also host Easter Brunch for members and their families, featuring an a la carte brunch menu with culinary stations, a mimosa bar and photos with the Easter Bunny.
The Monet Restaurant menu blends French cuisine with Asian and coastal California flavors for an elevated culinary experience of refined yet delightfully playful dishes that are seasonally inspired and crafted with exceptional ingredients. Menu highlights include the signature Monet Salad, Korean BBQ marinated wagyu entree and delectable desserts such as the passionfruit creme brulee with white chocolate chantilly and tropical fruit salsa. With interiors designed by Venice-based boutique agency, Studio Collective, the Monet Restaurant takes visual cues from the beloved Impressionist for a feel that is both sophisticated and whimsical. The venue features an elaborate bar and intimate performance space for curated live entertainment during evening dining service.
“I aim to provide an honest and welcoming experience for everyone who comes to the Monet Restaurant, where every ingredient has its place and purpose, and all dishes are treated with utmost care to highlight its purest flavors,” said Executive Chef Daniel Hohng. “Just as every stroke in Monet’s paintings mattered, I treat each ingredient with uncompromising respect and ensure the finest ingredients are sourced from the most passionate farmers and fishermen.”
The sleek Palm Bar and Lounge features a full-service bar and relaxed communal space that opens out to the al fresco Garden Terrace, adorned with inviting patio seating, lush landscaping and water views. The Palm Bar menu offers a number of gluten-free dishes in addition to gluten-free bread substitutions upon request. Shareable plates include fan-favorite brussel sprouts with apricots, goat cheese and honey coriander gastrique plus octopus with garlic hummus, crispy chickpea, za’atar sauce and cilantro. A selection of burgers and sandwiches offer a twist on classics while entrees include kimchi risotto and the catch of the day prepared with saffron nage, roasted winter vegetables and chive oil. The cocktail menu features a range of tantalizing infusions and an impressive collection of wine and spirits. Signature Club cocktails include The Center 75 made with Gin Mare, fresh lemon juice, homemade simple syrup, prosecco and lemon twist and the Symphony Sour made with Four Roses bourbon, fresh lemon juice, homemade simple syrup, egg white and a splash of red wine.
