Oregon Wine Country’s luxury boutique hotel, The Allison Inn & Spa, is pleased to welcome Elaine Heide as the new Wine Director. In her role, Heide will lead all wine programming at the 85-room award-winning resort, including the wine service at the resort’s signature restaurant JORY.
Allison Inn & Spa Welcomes Elaine Heide as New Wine Director
Elaine Heide comes to The Allison with over twenty years of experience as a skilled wine professional. She holds Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 3 and Level 4 Diploma certifications, along with the Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) through the Society of Wine Educators. Additionally, She holds a position as Director of Education on the board of Our Legacy Harvested, a non-profit organization founded in 2020 to educate, advance, and empower the BIPOC community in the wine industry. Her commitment to the community includes volunteering for educational conferences and supporting developing professionals as a mentor.
Commenting on the news of her appointment, Heide said, “I am thrilled to be part of The Allison Inn & Spa team and honored to lead the wine program at the property. I’m looking forward to creating an interactive wine program and expanding our wine list to include more Oregon gems, as well as intriguing wines from around the world.”

Elaine Heide will work with integral leaders at The Allison Inn including newly appointed Executive Chef Jack Strong and Master Gardener and Resident Beekeeper, Anna Ashby to elevate menus and wine lists as well the overall dining experience for guests and locals.
