Leading Tradeshow Introducing the Texas Restaurant Association Marketplace
The Texas Restaurant Association (TRA) has been serving the restaurant industry for 76 years. Our annual foodservice tradeshow, now the second largest in the U.S., showcases the latest innovations, trends and topics important to the industry. Over 700 exhibits fill the venue, which rotates between Dallas and Houston.
The secret to being relevant to the industry is the ability to evolve, grow and change with the times. Organizations with histories of success understand when it is time to make a change. TRA has long been leading the charge on industry issues, providing members with cutting edge ideas and educational opportunities. The annual tradeshow is an essential part of our mission and the new look and name will bring new energy to the event.
“TRA Marketplace will offer a highly engaged and business conducive environment as distinct and original as Texas,” said Richie Jackson, TRA CEO. “This is a place to do business and become a better restaurateur. It is the must-attend event for our industry.”
The Texas Restaurant Association Marketplace is open to anyone with an industry affiliation, and draws attendees from the restaurant, hotel, institutional foodservice and catering sectors with annual crowds in excess of 13,000 attendees. Executives, owners, purchasing agents, chefs, managers and other decision makers attend the show to see what’s new and innovative, and to learn and network.
The rebranded show will launch at the 2014 event, June 22 – 23 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. Visit www.tramarketplace.com for more information.
TRA Marketplace is open to the trade only. No one under the age of 16 is admitted. Rolling carts, wheeled bags and luggage carts will not be allowed in the exhibit hall during show hours. Proof of business ID may be required.
