The fruit of summer is watermelon and there’s no better way to beat the heat with GREY GOOSE’s newest watermelon cocktail, the GREY GOOSE High Five. The GREY GOOSE High Five cocktail that served as the signature drink of the 2015 ESPY Awards.

Created by GREY GOOSE ambassador, Guillaume Jubien, the GREY GOOSE High Five cocktail is a refreshing answer to the summer heat, crafted with GREY GOOSE vodka, watermelon juice, coconut water, lime juice and a habanero pepper – fresh and light ingredients that were influenced by the ESPYS.

Guests at last week’s ESPY events where the first to taste the delicious libation. Notables in attendance included Robbie Rogers (LA Galaxy), Sydney Leroux (Western New York Flash) and Michelle Beadle (ESPN anchor), as well as VIP athletes and celebrities Caitlyn Jenner, LeBron James, Abby Wambach, Lindsey Vonn, Michael Politz,​ Ronda Rousey, Stephen Curry, Victor Espinoza, Peyton Manning, Derek Jeter, Rachel McAdams, Jake Gyllenhaal and more.

 The GREY GOOSE High Five is easy to make at home and a perfect way to cool off during summer.

Summer’s New Hit – The GREY GOOSE High Five Cocktail

GREY GOOSE® HIGH FIVE

  • 1½ oz Grey Goose vodka
  • 1 oz Watermelon juice (cold press)
  • 2 oz Coconut water (cracked open)
  • ½ oz Fresh squeezed lime juice
  • ½ oz Habanero pepper syrup

Glass: High ball glass
Garnish: Red-hot chili pepper
Method: Combine all ingredients in a shaker and shake with ice and strain over fresh ice in a long glass and garnish.
Habanero Pepper Syrup recipe:

  • 1 part sugar, 1 part water
  • Cooked and cool down with habanero pepper
  • 1/2 liters (32oz) water
  • 500 g 1lb. Sugar

Heat up on a pan and dissolve sugar until it become a syrup

Slice 1 habanero pepper without seed and infuse cooling down syrup

Strain out and it’s ready
