These wine and Prosecco cocktails are perfect for picnics, BBQs, and brunches with family and friends as the weather heats up. Bellini Sangria
(as a pitcher – serves 8-10)
2 cups DUCA Garganega/Pinot Grigio OR Durello/Chardonnay
1 cup Peach nectar or puree
1 cup Lemonade (good quality store-bought)
1 cup Mionetto Prosecco
Directions: In a pitcher, add ingredients and stir together with plenty of ice. Add sliced peach and strawberries to the pitcher. Pour into large wine glasses and add fresh mint to the glass.
Bacca (Berry) Sangria
(as a pitcher – serves 8-10)
2 cups DUCA Cabernet/Corvina OR Merlot/Pinot Noir
1 cup Blackberry or raspberry puree (home-made or store bought)
1 cup Pomegranate juice
1 cup orange juice
Juice of 1/2 of a lime
Directions: In a pitcher, add ingredients and stir together with plenty of ice. Add raspberries and blueberries to the mix. Pour into large wine glasses and add lime wheel.
“IL” Lambrusco Sangria
1 bottle of Mionetto ‘IL’ Lambrusco
1 fresh Peach, sliced to medium thickness
1 fresh Plum, sliced to medium thickness
1 lemon, cut into wedges (using ∏ for Sangria base and ∏ for garnish)
Several strawberries sliced
1 cup of freshly squeezed orange juice
∏ cup of Brandy
Mint leaves for garnish
Directions: Combine all ingredients in a pitcher or bowl with ice. Pour into glasses, garnish with fruit: ∏ lemon wedge and mint.
