New line of business rounds out comprehensive concept development offering for Restaurant and Hospitality clients.
Streetsense, a multidisciplinary firm specializing in retail, restaurant, hospitality, and real estate solutions, announced today that it has acquired two firms – Food Culture of Miami, Florida and Financial Foods of Bethesda, Maryland – to create a new line of concept development and operational consultancy services for restaurant and hospitality clients. Antoni Yelamos of Food Culture and Adam Williamowsky of Financial Foods will serve as the co-directors of Streetsense’s Eat+Drink consultancy group.
With the acquisitions and creation of Eat+Drink, Streetsense is adding to its already robust concept design offerings, now providing the full breadth of services addressing the development and re-imagining of food and beverage concepts for restaurants, hotels, and other hospitality environments. Specifically, Streetsense’s new Eat+Drink services include: concept creation and repositioning, business plan development, financial modeling, culinary and beverage conceptualization, key talent recruiting, team development and training, operational analysis, procedure and systems development, operational management and support, back-office and controller services, venture agreement assistance, value engineering, and brand development and expansion.
“We are privileged to have Food Culture and Financial Foods join the Streetsense team in such a meaningful way. Antoni and Adam not only bring a new dimension to what Streetsense can now offer our clients, but they also bring a unique perspective to our entire design and strategy team as operators and concept inventors of great brands,” commented Marc Ratner, Streetsense CEO.
The launch of Eat+Drink answers an overwhelming need in the Restaurant and Hospitality industries for a complete and integrated concept development solution – from idea to activation to management. The Eat+Drink division focuses on Food & Beverage conceptualization and development and operational consultancy, and when paired with Streetsense’s current integrated offerings, it provides restaurateurs and hoteliers the ultimate solution for creating exceptional eating and drinking experiences.
“By joining Streetsense, Food Culture’s quintessential philosophy of creating unique and unparalleled dining and drinking experiences truly comes to life in a broader new scope,” noted Food Culture founder, Antoni Yelamos.
Antoni Yelamos joins Streetsense as Director of Hospitality Operations. From Barcelona, Spain, Yelamos brings to Streetsense more than 30 years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry, including founding his own Food & Beverage concept and development firm, Food Culture.
