2014 Season Kicks Off on April 4th with Official Opening of the Pool & Winery Park. Annual Easter Egg Hunt & Spring Celebration to Take Place April 19th
Francis Ford Coppola Winery announced today the 2014 season opening of its pool and outdoor Winery Park. Beginning today, Friday, April 4, Coppola’s ‘wine wonderland’ will be open every weekend through May 18, (Friday through Sunday, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.), weather permitting. Starting Friday, May 23, the Winery Park will stay open seven days a week, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. through September 28. Full schedule as follows:
- SPRING: April 4 – May 18, Open Weekends (Friday – Sunday) 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- SUMMER: May 23 – September 28, Open Daily 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- FALL: October 3 – October 26, Open Weekends (Friday – Sunday) 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
The Winery Park, located in Northern California’s Alexander Valley, includes a 3,600 square-foot swimming pool and 28 cabines – European-style personal changing rooms, as well as chaise lounge chairs, an outdoor Pool Cafe offering poolside service, a performance Pavilion, four regulation-sized bocce courts, a small kid’s lending library and game tables for classic card and board games such as backgammon, chess, and checkers.
Customary Cabine Package and Premium Cabine Package rentals are available and range from $135-$180 per day, offering guests all-day access to a personal changing room, four pool passes, four towels, exclusive wine tasting and more – all the things necessary for a relaxing and memorable outing. They are first come, first served and cannot be reserved in advance. Prices are $30 for adults and $15 for children and seniors. Francis Ford Coppola Winery also invites you to the annual Easter Egg Hunt & Spring Celebration taking place this year on Saturday, April 19th. A Sonoma County tradition, families and their children are invited to search for colorful and delicious Easter eggs hidden within the vines. Afterwards, join in on the fun-filled spring celebration with exciting things to do including a Petite Picasso art activity and visits with furry friends from Foggy River Farm, Lyon Ranch, and The Bird Rescue Center. The tasting room, RUSTIC restaurant and outdoor Pool Cafe will all be opening early as well. Tickets are $10 per child (ages 12 & under). In celebration of the winery’s newest wine collection, “Gia by Gia Coppola,” inspired by Francis’s granddaughter, Francis Ford Coppola Winery will be hosting a launch party in their outdoor Pavilion on Saturday, April 26.
