Southern California Wine Country this September
The Southern California wine scene is quickly heating up and the Temecula Valley is in large part at the helm of this boom. To share our exciting growth, and as part of California Wine Month (September 2016), Temecula Valley Wine Country is launching a series of events and programs, and we’d love for you to be a part of this celebration. Please review the opportunities below. We have a limited number of passes for qualified media and influencers. Simply let me know of your interest, or feel free to RSVP HERE and we will be in touch with next steps. More information on Temecula Valley Wine Month can be found HERE.
Friday, September 16, 2016 ǀ Winemaker Roundtable
Visit Temecula Valley and the Temecula Valley Winegrowers Association are hosting an intimate winemaker roundtable for select wine media and industry influencers to discuss the challenges and opportunities surrounding growing grapes and making wine in Southern California, as well as the results of the 2016 harvest. This discussion is the first of its kind for our region. Lunch will be served alongside a selection of Temecula Valley wines.
Saturday, September 17, 2016 ǀ CRUSH: A Wine & Culinary Showcase
Our annual CRUSH event, our region’s celebration of the wine and culinary bounty of the Temecula Valley region, will be at Wiens Family Cellars. Please consider staying through the weekend after the Winemaker Roundtable to enjoy this event.
Thursday, September 29, 2016 ǀ People’s Choice Blind Tasting and Awards Celebration
Temecula Valley Southern California Wine Country history is launching the inaugural People’s Choice Blind Tasting and Awards Celebration. This new event will include a walk-around blind tasting for consumers and media to sample what our wineries believe is their single best white or red still wine. These wines (any variety, any price point) will be tasted and rated by attendees, and the highest-scoring “People’s Choice” wines will be recognized that evening at an elegant dinner and celebration. We also will use the outcome of this landmark event to inform and guide our region as we continue to grow.
