Sonoma-Loeb Appoints Trey Blankenship Brand ManagerSonoma-Loeb is excited to announce that it has appointed Trey Blankenship as brand manager. Effective immediately, Blankenship will manage Sonoma-Loeb, and will be the winery’s brand ambassador throughout the country. Blankenship will also oversee retail sales and support wholesale sales for Sonoma-Loeb, which is owned and operated by the Chappellet family.

 

A seasoned wine industry professional, with more than 20 years of experience, Blankenship brings a specialization in sales and hospitality to his position at Sonoma-Loeb. Prior to Sonoma-Loeb, Blankenship was the director of California sales for Napa Valley’s Revana Winery and Oregon’s Alexana Winery, and before that he spent seven years as the regional sales manager for Joseph Phelps Vineyards, where he oversaw sales in multiple states, including California.

 

Blankenship also has extensive experience on the hospitality side of the wine industry. Blankenship holds a degree in culinary arts from the Culinary Institute of America, and earned a B.S. in restaurant, hotel and institutional management from Texas Tech University. He is also a certified sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers, who has worked as the tasting room manager for Joseph Phelps Vineyards, and the wine buyer for Napa Valley’s famed Oakville Grocery.
