In celebration of the French revolution MPB Agency has organized, for a second time around, Bastille Week from July 8-15, 2012. “Bastille Week brings together the New York community, Francophiles, foodies, wine & spirit enthusiasts, chefs, restaurateurs, business and leaders; all those that bring the French culture to life here in the streets of New York,” commented organizer and founder, Severine Picquet.
Diners will experience the highest standard of French gastronomy during French Restaurant Week where over 40 participating restaurants will offer a special promotion for $17.89. Bastille Week comes full of fun and exciting events. On July 12th Cercle Rouge (241 West Broadway) will host the “3rd Edition Pétanque Tournament” from 10am-8pm sponsored by Ricard. July 12th will also be the date for “Bastille Day Ball 2012” at the 404 organized by the Committee of French Speaking Societies, Inc. – New York.
