Scott Goldberg has been appointed executive director of food and beverage of Massachusetts’s award-winning Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club. Bringing with him more than 18 years of executive level food and beverage management experience, Goldberg will oversee multiple dining concepts across the 429-acre property and usher in a new culinary era at this charming and upscale New England getaway.
Scott Goldberg Named F&B Director
Goldberg has extensive experience in managing large-scale food and beverage programs across various disciplines. After earning his bachelor’s degree in hotel and restaurant management at the University of Nevada, he jumped into hospitality and entertainment management roles at places such as the Port Royal Hotel, NY, Santa Anita Park, CA, and the Los Angeles Convention Center. In 2004, Goldberg joined Levy Restaurants group in Los Angeles as regional director of operations. While there, he increased revenues and profitability while overseeing food and beverage across multiple sports venues, including the Dodger Stadium, Oracle Arena, and Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He continued to grow his management portfolio as vice president of food and beverage for Knott’s Berry Farm, CA, where he managed a cross-functional team of more than 40 managers and 1,000 employees and led initiatives that drove food and beverage revenue by 15%.
Goldberg further grew his career as vice president of food and beverage at Live Nation, where he oversaw operations of 11 House of Blues venues, 18 full-service restaurants, and 29 clubs and theatres and increased restaurant and catering revenue at an impressive rate. In 2014, Goldberg moved across the country to Nashville, TN, where he helmed the daily foodservice teams for Opry Entertainment and established a lucrative catering revenue at the organization’s various high-profile event venues and restaurants, including the Grand Ole Opry and Ryman Auditorium. Most recently, Goldberg took his talents north and served as vice president of food and beverage at Camelback Resort, PA, and Blue Mountain Resort, PA, of KSL Resorts.
