Ring in 2017 at D.C.’s Hottest Restaurants
Happy new year! Forget resolutions like dieting, going to the gym, or getting more sleep. Your resolution for 2017 should be to explore Washington, D.C.’s best designed eateries, because you don’t want to miss these exciting venues.
Momofuku CCDC:
-
The //3877 team worked with support from DesignAgency to create a space that is simple, functional and dedicated to Momofuku’s origin, while infusing its identity into the capitol’s CityCenterDC with custom art like a large scale painting by James Jean with peach blossoms symbolizing the convergence of Momofuku (peach) and Washington D.C. (cherry blossoms).
3 Stars Brewery:
- The //3877 designers used reclaimed wood, corrugated metal, garage doors, and industrial light fixtures to create an urban farmhouse for 3 Stars Brewery.
Glen’s Garden Market:
Traditional restaurants aren’t the only venues to check out interesting designs – the //3877 team also created a comfortable grocery shopping experience at Glen’s Garden Market in The Shaw with design elements that act as a backdrop to the food, with natural wood shelving, warm wood tones, reclaimed lumber, and pops of “Glen’s Green” contrasting with warm greys. The //3877 team has several new restaurants opening in the D.C. area in 2017, including the highly-anticipated Succotash and Slipstream.
