The Pierre NY, A Taj Hotel is pleased to announce the reopening of the esteemed Perrine Restaurant & Bar on August 17, 2021 for dinner service. The classic restaurant across from Central Park will continue under the direction of Executive Chef Ashfer Biju. Perrine will offer a seasonal collection of farm-to-table cuisine including salads, appetizers, and sides highlighting summer produce from the tristate area. The menu will also include favorites such as Tuna Tartare, Shrimp Cocktail, Spring Chicken and the restaurant’s ever popular Chocolate Cake.
Dinner will be served from 5:00pm – 11pm from Tuesday to Saturday. In addition to traditional favorites, Perrine will offer an exciting new Bar menu featuring updated classic cocktails along with cocktail snack offerings. A curated wine list will offer as many as 15 wines by the glass.
In keeping with post-pandemic policies, guests will appreciate a new layout with enhanced bar seating, socially distanced tables and open doors to 61st Street (weather permitting). Seating will be available both indoors and outdoors with a re-imagined Rose Terrace featuring seating under a canopy with a charming sidewalk garden reminiscent of Provence. Perrine will follow New York City guidelines for admitting only vaccinated guests for indoor dining.

Perrine is dedicated to keeping all menus seasonal and reducing its carbon footprint by sourcing the best local and regional ingredients. Nearly half of Perrine’s food products come from the tri-state area, Pennsylvania, Vermont, and Massachusetts. The NYC farm-to-table bistro, proudly supports artisanal and local growers, in addition to working with sustainable food programs and vendors.
Known for its elegant and fun celebrations, Perrine will host the annual Smash Bash: A Celebration of Tennis to celebrate the US Open on August 26th from 5:30 – 8:30pm featuring tennis stars Garbine Muguruza, Bianca Andreescu and Andrey Rublev. Reservations for Perrine Restaurant & Bar can be made through RESY from American Express. The restaurant will be closed on Friday, August 20th, Friday August 27th and Saturday, August 28th for private events. Room service will also be available for guests staying at the hotel.
