Paris Club is introducing a unique and exclusive culinary experience for guests with a serious palate which will highlight visiting French culinary greats representing some of the world’s most respected restaurants.
Paris Club’s newly-appointed executive chef Alex Ageneau will host this ongoing, exclusive chef series. The inaugural event will take place on Saturday, November 3, in the restaurant’s Salon Privé, featuring the cuisine of world-acclaimed chef Armand Arnal of Michelin-starred, La Chassagnette. Recently named a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters in France, chef Arnal will present a unique four-course meal with wine pairings created just for this limited engagement.
Originally from Montpellier, chef Armand Arnal, 31, spent seven years working closely with internationally-renowned Alain Ducasse in New York, before taking his position as executive chef at La Chassagnette in early 2006. There, Arnal has created a fresh and contemporary menu reinventing Mediterranean tradition, with organic products, fresh fish, seasonal vegetables and herbs. His inspiration comes straight from the restaurant’s organic vegetable garden and Mediterranean shores.
“I have much respect for Armand and I look forward to working with him,” said chef Alex Ageneau. “He brings a wealth of experience and talent, and our guests are going to appreciate his unique style.”
Paris Club has teamed up with hospitality consultant Jean-Pierre Duteron of Global Luxury Hospitality to direct this culinary initiative. A native of Bordeaux, Duteron has gained notoriety in the industry as a restaurant developer, food and beverage executive, general manager and impeccable host, including a stint as the private Maitre d’ to the late French president Francois Mitterrand.
