The Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa is delighted to announce the appointment of accomplished, award-winning Chef Ahin Bhattacharyya as the new executive chef at ONA Coastal Cuisine.
Bhattacharyya is a Michelin-trained chef who specializes in modern, refined cuisine. He has more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry and has served in several senior roles at luxury international and domestic destinations, including Hotel Nikko, Dorint Sofitel Vital Royal Spa, Isla Bella Beach Resort, and World Golf Village Renaissance St. Augustine Resort. Renowned for his creative flair, Bhattacharyya excels in crafting exceptional dishes, inspiring team members, and ensuring outstanding guest care.
Bhattacharyya began his culinary journey with an apprenticeship at The Ashok Hotel in New Delhi, mastering Indian and Southeast Asian cuisine. He then refined his skills in European cuisine at the Schloss Klessheim Institute in Salzburg, Austria, earning an associate culinary degree. Bhattacharyya continued to expand his culinary expertise by mastering French, Italian, Mediterranean, and regional Austrian cuisine at premier hotels and restaurants. This journey included Michelin-rated restaurants aboard Cunard Line’s QE2, such as the Queens Grill, and at La Scala in the Vienna Hilton where Bhattacharyya earned the esteemed title of Chef de Cuisine in Haute Cuisine.
