Through his passion for supporting neighboring farmers and offering the freshest fare available, the chef at Crosswinds Grille located at The Lakehouse Inn seeks to diminish his restaurant’s carbon footprint while providing his patrons with the highest-quality ingredients and nutritional menu items possible – but it doesn’t end there.
Chef Nate also offers a more hands-on experience to culinary enthusiasts as well. Several times a year he hosts inn guests to “hog-butchering weekends”, utilizing his knowledge of the rare European butchering technique, seam butchery, along with his love for teaching others about the importance of quality and nutrition. Fagnilli notes that “when I teach others, it forces me to learn too”.
