Popular bakery café introduces mobile app service, set to open today
Shoppers at the iconic Galleria Dallas will soon get a double dose of their favorite sweet treats when the premier shopping mall officially welcomes its second Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip on Friday, June 6.
The grand opening celebration, which takes place on Saturday, June 7, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., will feature a special appearance by the Nesquik Bunny, as well as complimentary cups of coffee and mini cookie samples. Thanks to the success of the Galleria’s first bakery café, which opened in 2001, the new showcase kiosk will serve up even more of their signature chocolate chip cookies, premium coffee and a wide array of beverages crafted to quench the palette.
“There’s no question that our cafés are a perfect fit for the Galleria, as well as for our hometown,” said Shawnon Bellah, senior vice president of global operations for Nestlé Toll House Café. “With our premium coffees and desserts, we’re the perfect respite for bustling shoppers. Over the years, we’ve developed a reputation for providing warm and friendly customer service at Galleria Dallas, and we’re looking forward to serving it up two-fold starting this month.”
The premium dessert destination concept is built around the world’s most powerful food brand – Nestlé. Along with its universally loved Nestlé Toll House cookies and cookie cakes, the new café will serve brownies, muffins, lemonades and Nescafé Milano coffee. The new location is ideally suited for catering to offices in the Galleria Towers and delivering the café’s delicious cookie cakes and dessert party platters.
The new café is one of the first in North America to feature Nestlé Toll House Café’s enhanced kiosk concept, including digital menus displayed on four LED screens and an upgraded design that showcases the brand’s distinctive product offerings in a more efficient and attractive manner.
Thanks to a new smartphone app that can be downloaded from iTunes, cookie enthusiasts will also be able to place cookie cake orders online, find the nearest Nestlé Toll House Café, get official nutrition information, connect with other café users and more.
Galleria Dallas is located at 13350 Dallas Parkway, with the new café situated on the second floor in suite 2255, near the Galleria Ice Skating Center. It marks the seventh Nestlé Toll House Café in the Dallas market, the 22nd in the state of Texas, and the 127th system-wide.
The main cafe can be found on the mall’s second level near Belk and Nordstrom. Café hours for both locations are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
