Shoppers from Lynwood and beyond can now revisit the sweet tastes of childhood while strolling the shops of Alderwood Mall, which welcomed Washington’s first Nestlé® Toll House® Café by Chip today.
The popular bakery café serves up freshly baked cookies, premium Nescafe® Milano coffee, smoothies, crepes and a wide array of other delectable treats and lunchtime snacks. The Lynwood location marks the 135th café system-wide.
“We like to think that shopping goes hand-in-hand with a sweet treat and a great cup of coffee,” said Shawnon Bellah, Senior Vice President of Global Operations for Nestlé Toll House Cafe. “Since our cafés have been so successful in other markets across the country, we’ve been looking forward to adding the Evergreen State to our westward expansion. I know it’s going to be a very popular addition to Alderwood Mall and the city of Lynwood.”
Complete with its own comfortable seating area, the new Nestlé Toll House Café features digital menus displayed on eight LED screens and an upgraded design that showcases the brand’s distinctive product offerings in a more efficient and attractive manner.
With so many options to choose from at Alderwood Mall, franchise operators Imtiaz and Shaba Modak said they couldn’t wait to add a new attraction specifically designed to satisfy each shopper’s sweet tooth.
“When they notice our café for the first time, they are instantly drawn in – it’s warm and welcoming, and there’s something for everyone here,” Imtiaz said. “We’re very excited to be a part of the Nestlé Toll House Café family. The premium dessert destination concept is built around the world’s most powerful food brand – Nestlé. Along with its universally loved Nestlé Toll House cookies and cookie cakes, the new café serves brownies, muffins, smoothies, ice creams, cold drinks and Nescafé® Milano coffee.
The café is also a great lunch option thanks to its savory, made-to-order crepes, featuring everything from smoky bacon, egg and cheese to chipotle chicken, chocolate-dipped strawberries and more. Other delicious meal options include salads, wraps and Panini sandwiches.
The Alderwood Mall is located at 3000 184th St. SW, with the café situated in Suite 5519. Café hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
