About Drake’s Hollywood:
Vandelay Hospitality, the restaurant group owned by Texas businessman Hunter Pond, is proud to present drake hollywood. Located on the iconic Melrose Avenue, alongside West Hollywood staples such as Catch LA and Craig’s–Drake’s is a lively and upbeat Hollywood-inspired restaurant and lounge.
Vandelay is the restaurant group that brought the highly acclaimed Hudson House to Beverly Hills earlier this year.
The menu offers elevated twists on American classics. Standouts include a truffled filet mignon cracker-crust pizza, ossetra caviar, and creme fraiche dressed oysters from their raw bar, and a premier steak program featuring the 42-ounce “King’s Porterhouse.” Other highlights include a lobster, crab, and ossetra mac and cheese appropriately called “Le Deluxe” – and a decadent 24-layered strawberry cake.
At the bar, guests experience what Vandelay is most known for–their trademark “World’s Coldest Martinis.” Bartenders are specially trained to shake until optimal frost temperature is reached before serving; if it doesn’t frost the glass, it doesn’t go out!
Explore drake’s hollywood reviews photos for a glimpse of its vibrant ambiance and delicious dishes, perfect for any occasion. The ambient environment is created by rich, red leather booths, warm wood paneling, dim lighting, and nods to vintage Hollywood throughout. Everything is centered around a large circular bar with glowing accents. A dramatic entry canopy awning and lush greenery welcome guests through the front doors. Sweeping, commissioned murals cover the walls of each booth, featuring iconic characters of Hollywood history from all eras. The custom murals adorning the walls of Drake’s are inspired by the famed New Yorker cartoonist Edward Sorel. The artist, Jenna Fredde, spent over a year creating this thematic original artwork to showcase a progression of Old Hollywood eras–a signature element of our unique concept. Within its uniquely-vibey atmosphere, drake hollywood makes for an exclusive setting for celebratory occasions, offering full restaurant buyouts on request for award season parties, art and fashion events, holiday parties, and even smaller, more intimate get-togethers.
