Making the most of its proximity to scores of innovative artisan distillers, Moonstruck Chocolate Co. has fortified its Oregon Distillers Collection with four new truffle concoctions. Now available as a 12-piece set, the Oregon Distillers Collection blends local flavor and ingenuity in handcrafted European-style truffles, culminating in a masterful and indulgent expression of each featured spirit.
“Oregon’s community of craft distillers shares our fundamental attitude in creating a gastronomic experience. Like the original truffles in the Oregon Distillers Collection, the new recipes allow for an elevated alcohol content to give the complexities of the underlying spirits an opportunity to shine through.
The latest truffles to join the Oregon Distillers Collection feature spirits from around the state, including Glaser Estate Winery and Distillery of Roseburg in Southern Oregon, Indio Spirits Distillery of Beaverton and New Deal Distillery of Portland in Northwest Oregon, and Oregon Spirit Distillers of Bend in Central Oregon. “Our newest additions were inspired by distinct notes of marionberry, lemon, ginger, and Absinthe, a complex blend of botanicals and anise,” continued Rose, “and our popular Oregon Distillers Collection now more fully represents the region’s distilled offerings.”

Glaser Distillery Limoncello Truffle
Glaser Distillery’s Limoncello – a proprietary vodka infused with fresh lemons and lemon zest – marries with Moonstruck’s signature blend of milk and dark chocolate and is hand-piped into a milk chocolate shell.
Indio Spirits Distillery Marionberry Vodka Truffle
Indio Spirits Distillery’s Oregon Marionberry Vodka – with its rich aroma and mildly tart, lasting flavor – is infused into blended ivory and dark chocolate ganache hand-piped into a milk chocolate shell.
New Deal Distillery Ginger Liqueur Truffle
New Deal Distillery’s Ginger Liqueur –incorporating fresh ginger root, organic cane sugar and a hint of agave nectar – is infused into a blend of dark and milk chocolate ganache and piped into a milk chocolate shell.
Oregon Spirit Distillers Wild Card Absinthe Truffle
Wild Card Absinthe – a perfect blend of botanicals with hints of anise – permeates a dark chocolate ganache that is piped into a dark chocolate shell.
The new additions to the Oregon Distillers Collection join favorite truffle combinations that include: Oregon Pear Brandy Truffle and Oregon Apple Brandy Truffle from Clear Creek Distillery; Coffee Liqueur Truffle, Krogstad Aquavit Truffle and Aviation Gin Truffle from House Spirits Distillery; Temperance Trader Straight Bourbon Whiskey Truffle from Bull Run Distillery; Dead Guy Whiskey Truffle from Rogue Ales; and Crater Lake Pepper Vodka Truffle from Bendistillery.
The Oregon Distillers Collection is available as single truffles and as a complete 12-piece boxed collection; suggested retail price is $2.50 individually or $25 for the boxed collection.
Due to the higher liquor levels, approximately 5% ABV, sales of the truffles are limited to the following 19 states: AZ, CA, CO, FL, IL, KY, LA, MD, MN, MS, NV, NH, NJ, NY, NC, OR, TX, VA, and WV.
