Monster Energy Carolina Rebellion—May 6, 7 and 8 at Rock City Campgrounds at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, NC–has announced the lineup of festival experiences, as well as details for the expanded Pig Out BBQ Village, which will feature Gourmet Man Food that reflects cuisine of the region and the cultural food explosion that is happening around the country.
As previously announced, after selling out in advance in 2015, with a record-setting 80,000 fans in attendance, the Mid-Atlantic’s Biggest Rock Festival has expanded to three full days in 2016, featuring best of today’s rock along with legendary classic artists playing on four stages, the expanded Pig Out BBQ Village, and premium camping facilities.
The sixth annual Monster Energy Carolina Rebellion will feature performances from over 50 top rock artists including Disturbed, Scorpions, Rob Zombie, ZZ Top, Five Finger Death Punch, Shinedown, Deftones, Lynyrd Skynyrd, A Day To Remember, 3 Doors Down, Alice Cooper, Bring Me The Horizon, Cypress Hill, Pennywise, Lamb Of God, and many others. Pig Out BBQ Village: The expanded Pig Out BBQ Village will feature Gourmet Man Food that reflects the cuisine of the region and the cultural food explosion that is happening around the country. Gourmet Man Food (“GMF”) has been part of American culture since pioneers started experimenting with their cowboy menus to “kick things up a notch.” Since then, it’s become a phenomenon of artistically created, statement-making food, served in large portions with a powerful presentation. It’s a unique twist to foods you know mixed with flavors you don’t expect. The 2016 Monster Energy Carolina Rebellion Pig Out BBQ Village lineup includes: Angry Bird Grill, Aporkalypse Now, Cheese Louise, Cravin’ Cajun, Mac Attack, Master Of Patties, Ollie’s Tots, Porchetta, and Queencity Q. VIP Lounge Gourmet Man Food vendors include Chicago Taste Authority, Flip Flop Rob’s BBQ, Island Noodles, Little Smoke, Pie Baby, and What’s The Catch.

Jack Daniel’s: “Taste of Tennessee” invites visitors to come out and tour the nation’s oldest registered distillery from outside the Jack Daniel’s Hollow. Visitors get to see (and smell) whiskey dripping slowly through charcoal and the new oak barrels used in maturing Tennessee’s finest whiskey. The Experience is open to all Rebels, 21 years old and up, for tours free of charge. Stop by the Jack Daniel’s Experience for interactive engagements throughout the weekend.

The Music Experience: The Music Experience features all the elements that are involved in making music in a professional band setting. The interactive exhibit features guitars, basses, amps, drums, keyboards and electronic gear that are used by today’s most popular bands.
