Madison on Park in San Diego Rolls Out Its First Cannabis Cocktail

Bar manager Danny Kuehner, continues to bring creative cocktails to one of San Diego’s most eclectic dining streets and is the reason Madison’s cocktail program has been turning heads in a city saturated with mixologists. He was interested in CBD oil for its medicinal uses, low to no psychoactive effects, its mood enhancing properties and strong and unique flavor profile. The medical properties of CBD have been known to reduce nausea and vomiting, suppress seizures, combat psychosis, inflammatory, and neurodegenerative disorders and kill tumor and cancer cells. Providing a unique flavor profile, CBD, or cannabidiol, does not get you high like tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC.

Madison is constantly experimenting with ingredients that have health benefits including two new mimosas on their brunch menu, the Blue Dream Mimosa with blue-green algae and the Black Magic Mimosa with activated charcoal. Blue-Green algae is an excellent source of protein, vitamins A, K1, K2, B12, iron, manganese and chromium, while charcoal has been used to aid in digestion and detoxing the body of toxins.
