LUXE CALIFORNIA STEAKHOUSE, RARE SOCIETY, TO MAKE NEVADA DEBUT AT UnCommons THIS WINTER

UnCommons, the new 40-acre urban campus in Southwest Las Vegas, will soon be home to Nevada’s first Rare Society, the wood-fired California-style steakhouse. Set to open later this year, Rare Society brings a contemporary twist to the classic steakhouse experience, merging the echoes of vintage upscale dining with a modern flair.

Following the undeniable success of its locations in California and Washington, the celebrated retro-chic steakhouse from Trust Restaurant Group will expand its footprint to Southwest Las Vegas, marking its sixth location nationwide. Spanning 5,000 square feet and accommodating up to 160 guests, Rare Society at UnCommons will evoke an ambiance reminiscent of Rat Pack gatherings and raucous Sinatra dinner parties with a touch of modernity, including features like a wood-fired grill, an on-site dry ager and a progressive cocktail program.

“Las Vegas is a city on the rise, and we’re excited to partner with UnCommons to bring Rare Society to this up-and-coming neighborhood,” said Brad Wise, chef and restaurateur of Trust Restaurant Group. “There’s so much more happening away from the Strip than ever before – we look forward to joining the ranks of Michael Mina’s The Sundry and all’Antico Vinaio, just to name a few.”

Rare Society’s menu boasts the sights and smells of premium cuts grilled over American red oak, a nod to Santa Maria ranchero-style grilling. Shaking up the tried-and-true steakhouse model by creating a shared approach to the classics with a bold twist, Chef Wise’s menu emphasizes fine Wagyu steaks, opulent seafood towers and vegetables charred over the flame. The menu will also showcase an array of sustainably sourced seafood, house-made sauces and meticulously crafted desserts, promising a dining experience that transcends traditional steakhouse fare.

“Chef Brad Wise’s innovative approach with Rare Society aligns seamlessly with our vision for UnCommons – a place where renowned culinary brands redefine expectations in a connected, neighborhood setting,” said Jim Stuart, partner at Matter Real Estate Group. “We are delighted to become the first to introduce Rare Society to Nevada, adding another layer of culinary excellence that our residents, tenants and the broader community can eagerly anticipate and savor.”

With its much-anticipated arrival, Rare Society will join what is shaping up to be a hotbed of culinary talent at UnCommons, which is home to the recently opened all’Antico Vinaio, AMARI Italian Kitchen & Wine Shop, The Sundry by TableOne Hospitality, the soon-to-open Wineaux by James Beard Award-winning chef, Shawn McClain, and many more.
