Kontos Foods Heads to SIAL Canada to Exhibit Cocktail Flatbread, Tandoori Naan and More

Kontos Foods, Inc. (www.kontos.com), a U.S.- based manufacturer and distributor of traditional artisan breads and Mediterranean specialty foods, today announced that the company will be exhibiting nearly its entire range of offerings, including its over 50 types of Flatbread, and Fillo products, at the SIAL Canada International Food & Beverage Tradeshow at Palais des Congres de Montreal, Canada from April 13-15.
Kontos Foods – which offers packaging in both French and English for the Canadian market – will be highlighting new products, including the new Kontos Rustics Collection™ Tandoori-style Naan bread in original and garlic flavors; the new two-pack Kontos Cocktail Flatbreads for soup bars, salad bars and convenience stores; and two-piece Kontos Pizza Parlor Crust in a re-sealable, Ziploc bag. These products will be at Kontos Foods booth 801A in the USA Pavilion, as well as in the SIAL show’s New Product Showcase.

In addition to the new Tandoori Naan, Cocktail Flatbread and 2-piece Pizza Parlor Crust products, visitors will see over 50 varieties of artisan breads, such as Kontos Foods’ top-selling Pocket-Less Pita®, the traditional pita of the Eastern Mediterranean; Greek Lifestyle Flatbread, which has 2x Protein, half the carbohydrates, fewer calories and less sugar than other Flatbreads; Kontos’ Panini breads; Indian and Asian Nans and Lavash bread. Also on display will be ready-made Fillo dough for home baking and Fillo pastry products.
SIAL Canada is the only event of its size in the country, bringing together more than 850 national and international exhibitors from 60 countries, all while welcoming more than 15,000 buyers from Canada, the United States and other countries. This year’s show will cover 240,000 sq/ft of exhibiting space. The show is targeted at retail, food service and food processing companies.
