KBP Foods Secures 24 Restaurants in Three States
The latest acquisition is part of KBP’s continued growth model and means the leading franchisee owns 247 quick service restaurants in 10 states.
Overland Park, Kan. KBP Foods, LLC, a leading franchisee of quick service restaurants in the U.S., announced it has acquired 24 restaurants in Kansas, Missouri and Florida from D-Carr Investments and related entities.
The agreement brings the total number of KBP restaurants to 247, operating in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Texas and Virginia.
The latest deal includes franchises under all three YUM! Brands restaurants, as well as Long John Silver’s franchises. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“KBP’s success by growth-through-acquisition strategy has been incredibly successful, and this acquisition is right in line with our business model,” said Barry Dubin, KBP Foods Chief Development Officer. “With our recent recapitalization, we are continuing to seek out opportunities for KBP to add 50 to 60 new units a year over the next five years.”
