The new JuiceBlendz Café, located at 15 Ionia Ave SW, Suite 100, Grand Rapids, MI 49503, will be giving away free regular-sized cups of its YoBlendz yogurt with free “Toppingz” to patrons, while supplies last, on Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 1-8pm as part of its Grand “YOpening” festivities.
A Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce member, JuiceBlendz, has invited representatives from the Chamber to be on-site for a ribbon-cutting ceremony that will begin at 1:30pm.
Franchisees, TJ and Dana Mettler, stated, “We are so happy to have introduced a healthy fast-food alternative to the Downtown community of Grand Rapids with our JuiceBlendz Café. Guests will experience healthy ‘Eatz’, ‘Smoothiez’, and ‘Supplementz’, as well as free YoBlendz Yogurt as a ‘thank you’ for patronage to our new store.”
John Boonstra, Orion Partner/Principal in Charge, said, “We are very excited about bringing another successful and original business to the Arena District. YoBlendz is a great component to the Ionia Ave area and we congratulate them on their grand opening.” Orion Construction served as the construction manager on the 1,500 sq. ft. renovation.

The Grand Rapids JuiceBlendz Café is the first Michigan location for the Weston, Florida-based chain, which was developed to offer a calorie-conscious menu without compromising taste and flavor. The Grand “YOpening event will also include participation from local colleges and groups.
