Jennifer Snyder is the owner at The Little Daisy Bake Shop, a traditional bakery offering nostalgic and seasonal baked treats including, cupcakes, cake pops, bars, custom cakes, donuts, scones, whoopie pies, cinnamon rolls, and more. Named in honor of Jennifer’s grandmother who shared her love of baking, The Little Daisy Bake Shop opened its doors in 2011 and is proud to be a peanut-and-nut free facility.
The Little Daisy Bake Shop’s treats are baked fresh daily and only feature real ingredients like eggs, sugar, and butter. They also source their cream from a local dairy farm distributor. Their chocolate is shipped in from Vermont to ensure it meets the shop’s nut-free commitment. Their sprinkles and food coloring are also nut-free and shipped from Seattle.
Jennifer and her dedicated team, many have been with her for 5+ years, pride themselves in not taking any shortcuts when it comes to the recipes. All items are baked from scratch using family-inspired recipes. The shop never uses premade mixes, preservatives or chemicals in their baking. Suburban Essex Magazine has named The Little Daisy Bake Shop as “Best Boutique Bakery” for three consecutive years.
The Little Daisy Bake Shop is involved in various philanthropic and local charities. They donate unsold food items weekly to Toni’s Kitchen (Montclair, NJ) and DIAL (Clifton, NJ), and bi-monthly to Montclair Emergency Services for the Homeless (MESH). Additionally, Jennifer and her team continue to make charitable donations to local communities, including: Buzz Aldrin School, FARE, FARE Livingston Walk, Forest Avenue Home & School Association, Glassworks, Glen Ridge 2018 Project Graduation, Glenfield Middle School, Lamp for Haiti, Linden Avenue Elementary School, MFEE, Montclair Ambulance Unit, Montclair Animal Shelter, Montclair Art Museum, Montclair Baseball & Softball League, Montclair High School 2018 Project Graduation, Montclair High School Crew Team, Montclair High School Dance Team, Montclair High School Lacrosse Team, Montclair Kimberly Academy, Montclair Literary Festival, Montclair Police, Montclair Public Library, Montclair State Taste of Entrepreneurship, Pockets of Light, Presbyterian Church of Upper Montclair, Union Congregational Weekday Nursery School, Uptown Business Association, and Watchung Elementary School.
Jennifer resides in Montclair, New Jersey with her husband and their two children. On her spare time, you’ll find Jennifer at her kid’s baseball and crew games or sitting on the board at her local church.
