SAY I LOVE YOU WITH A MEAL
Co-Founder of JUST Water, Actor, Musician, and Activist Jaden Smith and his I LOVE YOU Food Truck have partnered with Los Angeles plant-based staple, Café Gratitude, to serve love and nourishment to the food insecure community of Los Angeles through a delicious co-created vegan meal aptly named the “I LOVE YOU Bowl”. Starting October 16th, the I LOVE YOU Bowl will be served at all Café Gratitude locations. Our goal is to serve 10,000 bowls in Café Gratitude to then serve 10,000 free meals on Skid Row from the I LOVE YOU truck in 2020.
FOOD THAT NOURISHES THE SOUL
Jaden Smith is pleased to welcome Café Gratitude and Executive Chef Dreux Ellis to join in the I LOVE YOU movement. Smith Family Executive Chef, Tabitha George, who curates the I LOVE YOU menu, crafted a special version of the I LOVE YOU Bowl, inspired by a bowl crafted specifically for the Smith Family, to complement Café Gratitude’s menu.
SEASONAL INGREDIENTS
The I LOVE YOU Bowl will include seasonal ingredients such as brussel sprouts and butternut squash, with forbidden black rice, quinoa, and more. Each meal is served in a custom flamingo pink ceramic bowl, donated by Homer Laughlin Dinnerware, with a handwritten message from Jaden saying, “‘I LOVE YOU”‘ hidden at the bottom.
LOVE IS SERVED
Over the past eight years, Café Gratitude has paved the way in providing guests the
opportunity to enjoy affordable plant-based, healthy meals with their Grateful Bowl, a community-supported meal. To date, Cafe Gratitude has served over 800,000 Grateful Bowls at under $5 per meal. In this heartfelt partnership both the I LOVE YOU Food Truck and Café Gratitude will continue to ensure that love is served for all.

I LOVE YOU Food Truck is a nonprofit initiative of Jaden Smith and the Will & Jada Smith Family Foundation.
