Due this fall, the new spice varieties boast new and improved packaging and more options than ever before. Additionally, the full line will be distributed for the first time in select Walmart stores.

J.R Watkins herbs and spices, previously packaged in aluminum tins, will now be packaged in recycled glass bottles with a convenient shaker top and include a pressure seal to ensure optimum freshness. The custom glass bottle allows consumers to easily identify the spice by the vibrant labels that correspond to the color of the spice.
“Offering a color-coordinated label is a unique feature we think will ultimately help improve the shopping experience for the consumer,” added Rigley.
The new line includes existing J.R. Watkins bestsellers, like Cinnamon and Black Pepper, but also a wide variety of new flavors, including Saffron, Garam Masala and Chinese Five Spice Blend, to appeal to the at-home chef and culinary creative.
J.R. Watkins herbs and spices will be available October 1 at JRWatkins.com, Coborns, United Hardware, Woodmans, other fine retailers and in select Walmart stores nationwide.
