To celebrate the summer ahead, J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines is pleased to announce its Pinot on the Patio™ Sweepstakes, featuring a grand prize of a six-person patio set from J. Lohr and Patioworld valued at $16,000. Between Friday, May 1, 2015, and Sunday, June 21, 2015, entrants are invited to visit www.jlohr.com/pinotonthepatio where they may vote daily to select their favorite photograph showing one of four Pinot on the Patio moments. The Pinot on the Patio Sweepstakes is open to all legal residents over the age of 21 in the 50 United States and D.C., and no purchase is necessary to enter or win. The winners will be selected by random drawing, and in addition to the grand prize patio set, the sweepstakes will include a first prize of a backyard gas grill worth $975, as well as second and third place prizes.
“Pinot on the Patio is simple and fun,” says J. Lohr Director of Winemaking, President and COO Jeff Meier. “We’ve given people four settings: a resort, poolside in the backyard, at a beach, and in the kitchen, and we’re asking voters to select which one is their perfect place to relax. Our hope is that wine lovers will take a moment to think about how, and where, they enjoy our wines. It’s also our way of reminding everyone just how great Pinot Noir is as a summer red.”
J. Lohr makes three acclaimed Pinot Noirs from Monterey County, each with its own distinctive flavor profile: J. Lohr Highlands Bench Pinot Noir from the Santa Lucia Highlands, J. Lohr Fog’s Reach Pinot Noir from the Arroyo Seco, and J. Lohr Estates Falcon’s Perch Pinot Noir. To help spread the word nationally about Pinot on the Patio, J. Lohr will be sampling their selection of Pinot Noirs at various summer events, placing neckers with details about the sweepstakes on select bottles of all three J. Lohr Pinot Noirs, and highlighting Pinot Noir food-pairing suggestions on social media throughout the duration of the sweepstakes.
