ISSA RAE HOSTS INTIMATE DINNER FOR HER JANUARY 2024 HAUTE LIVING COVER AT RDEN RESTAURANT IN HOLLYWOOD WITH THE MACALLAN.
On January 9th, on the heels of the Golden Globes, Haute Living hosted their January issue dinner for cover star, actress and producer, Issa Rae, at RDEN Restaurant Hollywood. The intimate 40 person dinner featured a tasting with exclusive The Macallan 25 (bottle retails at approx $3k) for the group of VIP guests which also included artist Crime By Design and Haute Living publisher Kamal Hotchandani, among a variety of other industry influencers, filmmakers, and friends of Issa. Issa looked lovely in an ivory form fitting sweater dress, as she posed for photos and mingled with guests.

The Macallan cocktails highlighted during the evening included The Marigold and The Typography, both featuring The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old. Guests at the dinner toasted with Issa Rae’s Viarae Prosecco and enjoyed a red, white and rosé wine selection from Malibu Rocky Oaks Estate Vineyards
RDEN Restaurant is located in the historic TAFT Building in Hollywood, with a beautiful and unique mezzanine view of the Pantages Theatre and the bustling heart of Hollywood Blvd. Upon arrival, attendees were greeted by appetizers, wine and The Macallan cocktails in RDEN’s private courtyard style patio, and then proceeded upstairs to the mezzanine level for the celebratory dinner.

The group enjoyed a multi-course meal including items such as Hand Rolled Sushi and Sashimi platters, Grilled Ribeye Steak, Cauliflower Steak, Roasted Vegetables and Branzino with Aleppo Potatoes, among other signature staples such as the RDEN Heirloom Tomato Salad, Albacore Salad, Spicy Hummus and Spicy Meatballs, with homemade chocolate cookies and delicate mini pastries for dessert.
