Inviting Restaurant Design – Crust Wood Fired Pizza

While Crust Wood Fired Pizza is know for its high quality, seasonal wood fired pizzas topped with the freshest local ingredients, it’s been locally recognized for its beautifully designed spaces, reflecting a dedication to thoughtful, handcrafted dishes and the cultivation of a warm neighborhood atmosphere.

Working with Pam Manhas of Manhas Design, the Crust team pulled inspiration from the restaurant’s James Island location and its own menu to create an inviting, casual environment ideal for gathering with friends and family. Unique elements include:

• Reclaimed Chicago brick
• Custom made galvanized pipe lighting
• A custom designed pizza peel and whisk chandelier
• Two-way bar that opens to the screened in patio
• Custom statement light installation above the kitchen, “Happiness is Pizza”
• Hand tiled, Italian Mugnaini pizza oven
• Bar front hand-tiled with reclaimed pennies
• Open dining space with banquette, bar, patio and chef’s counter seating
