Innovative Dining Group (IDG), known for its portfolio of stellar restaurant concepts such as BOA Steakhouse, Sushi Roku, and Katana, recently welcomed Chief Operating Officer Sam Hallak on board to join Founder Lee Maen and Partner Philip Cummins in IDG’s next phase of growth. Hallak brings several years of experience in operations ranging from recruiting, developing and fostering camaraderie in the workplace.
Hallak’s arrival comes on the heels of IDG’s recent milestones from this year alone including:
- IDG expanded into the Bay Area’s Palo Alto neighborhood with its 7th Sushi Roku.
- IDG broadened its horizons outside California, with its first-ever, Texas location in Austin with BOA Steakhouse.
- This year, Sushi Roku Santa Monica celebrated its 25th year in business.
- BOA Steakhouse welcomed Chef Brendan Collins (Fia, Market Tavern, Waterloo & City) to oversee the menu as BOA celebrates over 20 years. Brendan has revamped the menu, adding several new dishes, a pasta section, and more vegetarian options.
