Inline Plastics’ 7” Rounds are Ideal for Those on the Run

Whether you’re heading out on a road trip, catching a flight or going to watch a kid’s soccer match, Inline Plastics’ new 7” rounds offer the convenience to keep snacks safe and make life easier.

The rounds are designed with tamper protection technology and a leak resistant seal to help keep food fresh for longer. In the multi-compartment option, the sealed packaging ensures the contents stay in the individualized compartments. An expansion of Inline’s Safe-T-Fresh portfolio, the just released rounds come in 24-ounce and 32-ounce sizes, along with a four 6-ounce compartment packaging. More options are on the way including a 46-ounce container ideal for storing snacks at home or bringing along shareables for a group of friends.

The innovation of the multi-compartment option is one to be celebrated. With three separate, sealable compartments, the rounds allow consumers to mix and match their snacks without worry that they’ll spill and mix together. This means that freshly cut fruit, nuts and sugary candies will as stay fresh as they were originally intended. The clear containers allow the food choices to easily be seen and recognized.

Carrie Cline, a senior brand manager, calls the 7” rounds a game changer saying that the company listened to user feedback to “understand the latest pain points and unmet needs” of consumers in designing the new containers.

“Inline doesn’t just react to trends—they proactively seek out the next big thing,” she says. “Shoppers today crave convenience and portability, especially for snacks, dips and other grab-and-go items. One compartment can house a medley of crunchy, roasted chickpeas, while the other two guard a sweet chocolate treat and spicy peanuts, and the rounds keep the three flavors perfectly separate.”

For over 55 years, Inline Plastics has been a leader in the food packaging industry and a big part of that success has been the company’s commitment to continuous innovation. As consumer demands and environmental concerns have evolved over the decades, Inline has consistently adapted to stay ahead of the curve with size, functionality and safety the ultimate decider in product development.

The compartmentalized rounds allow for portion-controlled servings of nuts, trail mixes and veggie sticks for children’s snack packs giving consumers and parents a range of options on how they can package their on-the-go food.

The packaging is also sturdy and durability and can easily be tucked into a backpack for a hike and not bend, break or leak.

“With Safe-T-Fresh, Inline Plastics has essentially built a moat around your food, complete with a drawbridge-like lid system that’s virtually impenetrable,” Cline says. “Here’s how it works: that lid doesn’t just sit there looking pretty. It forms at itght, tamper-resistant seal, creating a fortress of freshness that keeps contaminants at bay.”
