IFA Women’s Franchise Network Atlanta Chapter

Contributes Time & Money to Atlanta Community Food Bank

IFA Women’s Franchise Network Atlanta ChapterAs part of IFA’s Franchising Gives Back effort, the IFA Women’s Franchise Network Atlanta Chapter recently volunteered at the Atlanta Community Food Bank on Nov. 4 from 1 to 4 p.m.  Volunteers from Shane’s Rib Shack, We Sell Restaurants, Any Lab Test Now, Adfinitely and Loud & Clear PR helped the non-profit organization inspect, sort and package food for those in need.

In addition, We Sell Restaurants donated an additional $1,500 to the Atlanta Community Food Bank since more than 15 volunteers helped with the effort. The food bank works with more than 600 nonprofit partners—including food pantries, community kitchens, childcare centers, night shelters and senior centers—to distribute over 60 million meals to more than 755,000 people in 29 counties across metro Atlanta and north Georgia.

“We were thrilled to have a number of our WFN members, family and friends spend their Saturday afternoon helping out our community.  As a team, we packaged almost 15,000 pounds of food, which represents 8,535 meals for Atlanta metro families,” said WFN Atlanta Chapter Chairman Robin Gagnon, Co-Founder of We Sell Restaurants.
