Novecento, the beloved Argentinean hotspot, with locations in Brickell, Aventura and Key Biscayne is now open at CityPlace Doral. The brand has unveiled the concept’s new look and feel, along with a refreshed and invigorated menu. Acquired by SuViche Hospitality Group in July 2017, the brand-wide innovation efforts are reflected in the new restaurant, but still hold true to Novecento’s heritage. To reimagine the menu, the team tapped world-renowned chef and partner Jaime Pesaque, whose resume includes stints at El Celler de Can Roca, the opening of Pacifico in Milan and his critically acclaimed restaurant Mayta and 500 Grados in Peru.
Created after extensive research and travel through Mendoza and Buenos Aires in Argentina, the menu is a cultural blend of Mediterranean influences along with the culinary creativity that has fueled Argentina’s cuisine and their mastery of meats. The use of fresh ingredients and open fire grilling techniques renders a menu that is refined yet approachable. “Novecento is an iconic and a beloved brand, so our vision is not to redefine but to revitalize it. We think loyal fans will be happy with what we have in store and new guests will find much to love,” says Aliosha Stern, SuViche Hospitality Group founder.
