The Popular Beverly Hills Yogurteria is a Celebrity Favorite
Go Greek Yogurt, an authentic yogurt bar inspired by Greek culture and cuisine, will open its first location outside of Southern California at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. Popular with health-conscious celebrity A-Listers, make no mistake, Go Greek Yogurt is not an ordinary made-to-order grab-and-go.
“We are excited to bring the first authentic Greek yogurteria to Las Vegas,” said Wayne Lipschitz, Go Greek Yogurt’s President. “Las Vegas visitors and locals alike are always looking for fresh, healthy and fast options and we know they will embrace Go Greek Yogurt.”
Scheduled to open mid-August, Go Greek Yogurt is known for its “healthy living revolution” dedicated to providing nutritious meal alternatives and snacks throughout the day through delicious yogurt creations. The fresh yogurt bar features master “yogurtiers” who customize each dish both fresh and frozen. The fresh Greek yogurt is particularly authentic, imported by air from Greece, where the thick and creamy yogurt is made using old-world methods and traditions. Ingredients to finish the product and various toppings are also imported from Europe.
“It gives me great pleasure to have brought this wonderful yogurt and other ingredients, some from my home island of Crete, Greece to Los Angeles where it has been so well received and where we have such a loyal following,” said Jonathan Williams, co-founder, “and now to have the opportunity to serve it to all The Venetian guests from around the world.”
After choosing a fresh or frozen yogurt option, guests can select a variety of nutritious toppings, including fresh fruits and superfoods like goji berries, shaved dark chocolate, flax seed, hemp seed, toasted coconut, cacao nibs, carob chips, imported gourmet Greek toppings and more.
The diverse menu also features made from scratch menu choices that can be either a sweet or savory option made with a yogurt base. These combination menu items are a wonderful meal alternative for breakfast, lunch or dinner, or just as a snack on the go.
“In Greek yogurt, you have a lot of protein, natural carbohydrates, potassium, calcium, probiotics, and when you mix it in with the superfood toppings – either the vegetables or the fruit – it carries you a long way,” said Tanja Subotic, co-founder.
It is lower in lactose and has twice the protein content of regular yogurt making it a favorite at the five Los Angeles area locations in Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Glendale, Woodland Hills and Thousand Oaks. “Each location has a very unique look and footprint; in-line street, beachfront, inside mall, outside mall, kiosk, etc., though we are so thrilled with the design of The Venetian location that we are retrofitting all the locations to have some similar touches,” said Wayne Lipschitz.
Go Greek will be located in The Palazzo Waterfall Atrium and open daily from 8 a.m. until midnight.
