On February 1st, Zac Brown Collective announced that they intended to sell the promising Z. Brown Distillery located an hour north of Metro Atlanta in the heart of Georgia wine country. Zac Brown Collective has since focused its efforts on their restaurant/food businesses. New Mill Capital will offer the distillery for sale, fully equipped including the real estate, finished product and transferrable licensing.
Sitting on 6.5 acres in the hills of the North Georgia Mountains in Dahlonega, the distillery produced Georgia straight bourbon, whiskey, gin and brandy in partnership with local wineries. Z. Brown Distillery has maintained licensing and the distillery is equipped with high-end Vendome Copper & Brass Works distilling equipment. In addition to production capacity, the site features a tasting room and retail sales area.
“What an awesome location in a great part of the country. This is a topnotch, late model distillery in the heart of the Dahlonega Wine Trail. You can feel it when you visit the distillery and surrounding area,” said Eric Weiler, Principal of New Mill Capital. “The opportunity for multiple revenue streams including retail and event-driven business is endless.”
The distillery has substantial infrastructure in-place for expansion and entertainment spaces with mockups available. Multiple transportation options exist including Gainesville, GA Regional Airport – GVA (30-Minutes) and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta (90-minutes)
