2015 List Marks Inaugural Year of the Entrepreneur e360™ Performance Index, a Study of the Best American Entrepreneurial Companies; Votto Vines Importing Honored as a Forward Thinking Company
Votto Vines Importing is pleased to announce its inclusion on the first-ever Entrepreneur e360™ List, Entrepreneur Magazine’s new and prestigious list honoring the Best Entrepreneurial Companies in America. This list recognizes entrepreneurial companies for their growth, innovations, progressive decision-making, resilience, and value they bring to the world. Votto Vines’ innovative approach to business operations has landed them on the “Forward Thinkers” sub-list. Forward Thinkers are honored as progressive-minded companies who embrace technology and innovation, set high goals, and easily adapt to market needs while remaining loyal to their core values. This collection of US-based and owned companies also highlights entrepreneurs who have proven themselves to be effective and significant within their respective industries.
“We’ve worked diligently as a team and persevered through much to grow our company,” states Michael Votto, CEO and President of Votto Vines Importing. “It is extremely satisfying to be named one of the Best Entrepreneurial Companies in America by Entrepreneur Magazine, and it’s a testament to both our dynamic team as well as our incredible suppliers, distributors and strategic business partners.”
Votto Vines was also recently nominated as Importer of the Year by Wine Enthusiast’s 2015 Wine Star Awards, in addition to earning placement on the 2014 INC. 500 list as one of America’s Fastest Growing Companies, posting a three-year growth of 1,023%. Furthermore, Forbes Media recently named Votto Vines one of America’s Most Promising Companies. This collection of honors validates Votto Vines’ rapid growth and strategic vision since its founding in 2009.
Following the launch of several new brands and a very successful 2015 campaign, where depletions are anticipated to break the 100,000 case mark, Votto Vines announces two new hires outside of the founding family members and current sales and operations team.
Mike Layton was recently appointed VP Sales/Southeast Regional Manager and brings nearly 26 years of wine industry experience to Votto Vines. Karen D. Tellefsen has been appointed Upstate New York Regional Manager and offers 13 years of experience within the New York market. “We are thrilled to have Mike and Karen join our team,” noted Votto Vines SVP of Sales, Jeremy Jerome. “They each bring tremendous industry experience in their respective markets and will be integral to the continued growth of our business.”
