It is with great sadness that Enovation Brands, Inc. announces the passing of Joseph Resti. Joe died surrounded by his family on Sunday, June, 16, 2019 after a courageous 9-month battle with cancer. He was a valued member of the Enovation Brands family since 2015, where he served as the Divisional Sales Director for New England, and will be greatly missed.
Born in Winchester, MA, and a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Joe was a Bostonian through and through. A local legend in the wine business, Joe was a familiar face in Boston’s North End where he was fondly referred to as the Mayor of the North End. As passionate as Joe was about the wine business, it was more importantly the people he met through it that became a big part of his life and love. “Shop owners and restaurateurs would run out to the street to simply say hello when Joe passed by. It was a testament of the love and respect he garnered over the years,” said Giovanni Pecora, CEO of Enovation Brands.
Joe served as a mentor to many throughout his life and in honor of that legacy, his family and friends have established the Joe Resti Memorial Scholarship Fund which will annually benefit a deserving Winchester High School Senior.
