Says Chef Emeril Lagasse, “Twenty years ago, I opened Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House with the idea of bringing the flavors of New Orleans and the bounty of Gulf Coast seafood to Las Vegas. I’m grateful to say that with the ongoing support of our customers, the Las Vegas community and the MGM Grand, we continue to bring this experience to them.” Lagasse adds, “To this day, I’m proud to see the way that Las Vegas has shared in my love for this “New New Orleans Cuisine.”
Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House remains the second oldest celebrity chef restaurant in continuous operation on the Las Vegas Strip, preceded only by Wolfgang Puck’s Spago. Named in tribute to the original New Orleans Fish House, a longtime supplier to Emeril’s restaurants, Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House has won Wine Spectator’s “Best of Award of Excellence” every year consecutively since 1996, featuring more than 1,300 wines in inventory. Chef de Cuisine Heath Cicerelli has been part of the kitchen team for 12 out of 20 years.
The anniversary celebrations will augment Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House’s current popular offerings, including the Strip’s best daily selection of fresh oysters with five to seven varieties daily, a rotating weekly chef’s menu with original inspirations from the kitchen, a market menu focusing on catches of the day, the personalized Kitchen Table experience, and the new Coravin wine program offering rare cult wines by the glass.
