Emeril Lagasse’s Las Vegas Restaurants Celebrate National Bourbon Heritage Month

LAS VEGAS (Aug. 20, 2015) – Celebrate “America’s original spirit” during National Bourbon Heritage Month with Chef Emeril Lagasse’s Las Vegas restaurants Delmonico Steakhouse, Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House and Table 10. All venues will feature unique cocktails, dishes and events throughout the month of September.

Delmonico’s lead mixologist Juyoung Kang has combined the classic taste of bourbon with fall flavor favorites into three inspired cocktails, including the Back to School with Elijah Craig 12 year bourbon, lemon juice, hazelnut and cinnamon syrup, coffee liqueur ($15); Brown Derby with Old Forester bourbon, pink grapefruit juice, honey syrup ($15); and The New Father with Weller 12 year bourbon, amaretto, housemade tobacco vanilla bitters ($15). These cocktails will be available at the three restaurants Sept. 1-30.

Culinary Director Sean Roe cooked up three special bourbon-infused dishes at Delmonico Steakhouse to complement Kang’s cocktails, available daily for dinner throughout the month.

Guests can choose entree of mushroom-crusted filet medallions with smoked apple bacon, caramelized onion bourbon sauce and parmesan cheese ($50); a side of roasted baby sweet potatoes with bourbon pecan glaze ($12); and finish with a sweet dessert of bourbon sticky toffee cake with vanilla chantilly cream ($11).

Kang will host a bourbon tasting event on Monday, Sept. 21 from 6-8 p.m., featuring bourbon specials, tray passed appetizers and live blues music from Dick Earl Ericksen. With one of the largest whisky selections in the U.S., Delmonico’s renowned bar program includes more than 700 varieties from eight different countries.

Table 10 will host a series of “Bourbon and Blues” events each Friday, Sept. 4, 11, 18 and 25, from 7-10 p.m. with live music from blues artist Dick Earl Ericksen. Ericksen has toured nationally with artists including Billy Currington, Firehouse and Creedence Clearwater Revisited. Each week will feature a different bourbon brand with flight specials and giveaways.

Lagasse’s original Las Vegas restaurant will also offer Kang’s cocktails along with various other bourbon selections and bourbon cocktails. Look for surprise bourbon-accented savory and sweet specials during the month.
