The Aarón Sánchez Impact Fund, a program of Emeril Lagasse Foundation, has announced it will host an adrenaline-packed evening with a star-studded lineup of chefs at SPEEDVEGAS on Saturday, September 28, 2024. The 2nd annual Aarón y Amigos presented by Pepsi® will raise funds through admission sales and a stellar live auction line-up at the iconic Las Vegas venue.
Guests will be treated to a curated menu from Chef Aarón Sánchez and his amigos from across the country, paired with exceptional wines and tequila cocktails. The setting for this evening’s excitement will be guests watching, driving, or riding along at speeds up to 100 mph+ in the exotic Supercar and extreme GoKart experiences.
Happening during National Hispanic Heritage Month, proceeds will uplift the lives of Latino youth through food. Since 2016, the Aarón Sánchez Impact Fund has awarded 19 culinary arts scholarships to young Latinos valued at over $1.2 million.
Chef Aarón is joined by Co-Chairs Chef Rick Moonen (Perry’s Restaurant Group) and Beverage Consultant Rich Espe. A star-studded lineup of additional guests includes Chef Sam Choy (Sam Choy’s Ohana Diner), Chef Michael Schwartz (The Genuine Hospitality Group), Chef Ronnie Rainwater (The Emeril Group), Global Tequila CAZADORES® Brand Ambassador Manny Hinojosa, Somnium General Manager Tracy Smith, and Deven Paniagua with AXR Napa Valley.
“This year, we literally kicked our event into high gear,” said Sánchez. “As the need increases for supporting our Latino youth, we are ramping up our fundraising. I am honored that my amigos are joining me in this endeavor.”

Several ticket packages are available and include celebrity chef tastings, premium open bar, extreme GoKart driving, and exotic Supercar driving experiences. Individual tickets with or without a Premium Supercar driving experience are also available. Space is limited for this one-of-a-kind event.
